Music Festival

30 year old studs and only one has to be replaced saving us thousands of dollars.

The work being done in the dorm as well as the work done upstairs in my old house where Carolyn will live is unbelievable. These teams have worked so hard and it will take a lot of time, but the older girls’ dorm will be beautiful. Incredibly with the hundreds of panels of sheetrock removed only one 2×4 stud needed replacing. This dorm is over 32 years old.

The Venezuela earthquakes of 7:2 and 39 seconds later a second one of 7.5 will have deaths and serious injuries in the hundreds. Pray for the missionaries there to be used mightily of God to minister to the nation.  The earthquakes affected Venezuela, Columbia and Aruba. Also, I understand that Japan and California were affected.

We have dental students from the dental college come and check children and yesterday they cleaned Dottie´s teeth.

The new children are Mayans and do not speak Spanish.

Michelle is not crying but she is having times of sorrow. I imagine she is having withdrawals and feels somewhat abandoned. But she is strong and it will take a little time to feel comfortable with the changes.

Mario and Mariella took Michelle to a Christian Music Festival in San Cristobal so that was a blessing for her.

I Thessalonians 5:11, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” You cannot believe how much it means to me when I hear from folks. Encouragement does not cost us anything.

1 John 2:20 says “But you have an unction from the HOLY ONE and you know all things.” John makes it clear in this verse that the specific role of the Holy Spirit as HOLY ONE is to safeguard Christians from erroneous thinking about the nature of Jesus.
