Cooking in the yard

The Indian girl in this photo was the first to die from kidney disease.
Would you believe when we bought the property there were no bathrooms nor kitchens in the one building on property with 3 bedrooms? We cooked under a tarp. We also had Bible study outside and ate all meals on picnic tables.
But there was a love and much laughter as well as the children always wanting to help me cook as my kitchen time was Saturdays beginning with hundreds of pancakes. Dottie and our two helpers did the laundry and cooked the meals for over 100 children.
Today I will share why I called our ministry Build Your House on the Rock and next Sunday why we called our school Aleluya Acres. I use both names in the USA as well as Guatemala.
I gave my testimony to the Houston group. They brought me Tony Chacheres Mixes such as Gumbo, Jambalaya and Red Beans for Fther´s Day. Warmed my heart as well as my stomach.
Galatians 5:13 “For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.”
The first name for the Holy Spirit that we will share is found in Job 33:4. “The Spirit of God has made me, and, and the BREATH OF THE ALMIGHTY has given me life.” This is found where Elihu is addressing Job. This speech is seen following the 3 friends of Job, Eliphaz, Bildad and Zophar had ended their speeches. Elihu said that he owed his life to the BREATH OF THE ALMIGHTY. In the garden of Eden in Genesis 2:7 it says, “The Lord “breathed into his nostrils the BREATH OF LIFE; and man became a living soul.”
