I have peace about the future

Dottie had her worst day breathing since being ill. Never complains so when she tells me she feels bad it is serious.

Well, I am excited. The meeting to find out how to care for our house when Adela leaves has been settled and it is going to be fine. Carolyn, Jackie, Mariela and Shandi will replace Adela. Shandi stayed with Michelle when Adela was in university, so she is qualified for the care of Michelle. I now have peace about the immediate future.

Of course, we have Quique and Tony helping also and Orlando and Kimberly have already begun buying the weeks groceries which was a main job for Adela.

The photo shows our first triple constructions. In Los Enquintras 30 years ago we built a church, a school and a home for the pastor. The entire village helped. The women carried the cement bags from the road up a long-slanted hill. The men cut trees and carried sand from a creek.

Sadly, the pastor died very young and his children came to live at Casa.

Proverbs 21:21 “Whosoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness and honor.”

I Corinthians 10:1-4 “All our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea…and did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that SPIRITUAL ROCK that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.” Wandering in the wilderness after their deliverance from slavery in Egypt God led them with a cloud signifying His presence (see Exodus 13:21). He gave them safe passage through the Red Sea when the Egyptian army was behind them (see Exodus 14:21-27). Just as the rock in the desert was the source of water for the Israelites, so also Christ guides and protects those who places their trust in Him.
