Eye Surgery

Staff breakfast. I could not get them all in the foto.

One of the children in the baby dorm had eye surgery for strabismus which is an eye misalignment condition where the two eyes do not look at the same object simultaneously. Cross eyed!

I have always been amazed at how God brought Dottie and I together. I was raised as a Catholic in South Louisiana while Dottie was raised in Arkansas as the daughter of a Southern Baptist Pastor. I wanted to go to the University of Tennessee but my father´s accident caused me to go to Northwestern State to be nearer to my dad.

Dottie wanted to go to Ouachita Baptist in Conroe, Arkansas but circumstances sent her to Northwestern. I was dating a girl who happened to be Dottie´s roommate. Judy introduced Dottie to me and the rest is history. Only God! To me these were divine interventions.

Adela is from Toto and there was a flash flood where many lost their homes. But no one lost their lives.

Ephesians 5:25 says husbands love your wives. 5:22 says wives are to submit to their husbands. These passages make it clear that if the home is to be filled with love the husband is responsible. It is strange that no where in the Bible does it say a woman needs to love her husband. Marriage is based on the husband’s love and the wife’s submission. That is not popular in today’s world.

John 4:25-26v says “The woman says unto Him, I know that MESSIAH comes, which is called Christ: when He is come, He will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto you is He.” Jesus admitted to this Samaritan woman that He was the MESSIAH. Remember in John1:41 Andrew told his brother Peter that he had found the messiah. In Matthew 16:20 Jesus said that they were not to use that name. That is why the word MESSIAH is so rare.
