Amalfi

Dottie and Amalfi
Amalfi came here many years ago and I tell her story when I give my testimony. She came this week to see Dottie and to inform that her children, my grandchildren are doing so well. Her son is finishing medical school, and her daughter is finishing her dental degree. You can not imagine how this blesses me.
I am so happy for the many grandchildren and what they will accomplish in their lives. Maybe even one of them will come to work at Casa and give back what their parents have received. Amalfi also brought her homemade yogurt with peaches, and it was great.
Dottie wanting to sleep most of the time and, of course, this is not healthy. Another way that we can pray directly at a health problem. In therapy Dottie spoke of being hit by a train and nearly losing a leg. She had us laughing as she was telling stories about herself that were pure fiction. We all had a good laugh and she laughed the most. My love continues to grow for her 63 years and counting.
Another name for Jesus is the GREAT HIGH PRIEST as seen in Hebrews 4:14, “Seeing then that we have a GREAT HIGHPRIEST, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.” The worship rituals of the Old Testament were presided over by the priesthood. Priests offered various sacrifices on behalf of the people to atone for their sins. In this verse from Hebrews, the writer adds another level to the priesthood.
As Christians we do not need a human intermediary to represent us before God. Other priestly names are as follows. HIGH PRIEST FOREVER in Hebrews 6:20, HIGH PRIEST OF OUR CONFESSION in Hebrews 3:1, MERCIFIL AND FAITHFUL HIGH PRIEST in Hebrews in Hebrews 2:17, and PRIEST FOREVER in Hebrews 7:17.
