Youth Minister

Ethan with Evelin and Alvaro.

Ethan loves helping in Vencedores (Young boys) and especially taking those boys out on trips. Ethan came here the first time when he was about 13 years old. Now he is 22 and serving as a youth pastor. It reminds me of Adam who came as an older teenager and came back, married Vilma and has a fabulous ministry here in Guatemala. Ethan led his grandfather to the Lord right before his death. The boys in Vencedores love him. I wonder if someday he may end up here on staff.

Today, Friday, Caroline flew back to her home in West Virginia and will not return until June. She has been such a wonderful help with Dottie so we will miss her. That places more strain on Adela which I pray that we can avoid.

I am so dependent on your prayers, and I do ask you you pray that someone will come to help us.

Sunday I will continue study of Romans 8:2 the laws of the Spirit. Number six is the law of Giving. Ethan came here the first time when he was about 13 years old. Now he is 22 and serving as a youth pastor.

In John 20:27-28 we read “Then said He to Thomas, reach hither thy finger here, and behold my hands, and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. Thomas answered and said to Him, my LORD and my God.” This was following His resurrection. Jesus revealed Himself to the Apostles. When Thomas saw Jesus and His wounds, he believed that Jesus was GOD.

Other scriptures you might want to read that describe His divinity with the Father are Romans 9:5 “GOD BLESSED FOREVER”. I Timothy 6:15 “GOD MANIFESTED IN THE FLESH.”  In 1Timothy 2:3 “GOD OUR SAVIOR.” And in         I John 5:20 “TRUE GOD.” Jesus is both the all powerful Father for whom nothing is impossible and the man of sorrows who can sympathize with us as weakened human beings.
