New Children

Quique lives in our house, cares for Mami and attends college. He does the laundry, washes dishes, sweeps and mops and anything else we need of him. He has been here since he was a baby.

I want to insure all of you that the problems withn the prisoners and the police has been totally solved. There is no danger whatsoever for visitors. I feel 100% save in encouraging you to visit Casa. The children need this. We are all safe and our area was not even affected in the past. We have 2 teams the last 15 days and they went to a village also and there were no problems at all.

We received a 10-year-old boy for whom we are very grateful. Then a day later we received a 9-year-old. With the 2-year-old girl we have received 3 new children in 4 days. Thank you for praying. It seems to be happening. Your prayers are critical.

We had a board meeting on line. God is indeed working.

The Maryland team went on an outreach and will leave for home tomorrow.

We truly need heavier showers as the ground has been so dry.

I am asking all our supporters to add to their prayer lists the need for a female person who loves special education young adults to be called by God to care for Dottie and Michelle. Cooking is also included. It will require a very special and God loving woman.

Caroline will still be here and will nurse Dottie and fix her noon and evening meals. If interested, you can come for a week or two and see what it is like. Adela is leaving in November, but time does have a way of moving fast. However, you have time to visit and pray on it. This is not a paid position as we are looking for a woman with a missionary´s heart.

A beautiful name for Jesus is DESIRE OF ALL THE NATIONS as seen in Haggai 2:7Haggai spoke these words to the Jewish exiles, “And I will shake all nations, and the DESIRE OF ALL NATIONS shall come and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts.” Haggai soke these words to the Jewish exiles who had returned to Jerusalem after the period of captivity in Babylonia and Persia. He challenges them to get busy building the Jewish temple. But Haggai´s words go beyond at the distant future when Israel´s Messiah would return in glory.

Jesus is not just the desire of Christians, He is the hope of the entire world.
