Our anniversary.
The mayor of San Bartolome sent 3 women to cook hamburgers for the children.
The teachers had activities to celebrate valentines.
Macy Shultz will be arriving today with 40 young adults in the Young Life Group from South Alabama. They will be taking down playground equipment so we can have new ones installed. Keaton will arrive with 20 folks on the 17th from Maryland. They will be removing the old playgrounds also. So, with 60 folks we should get it done. It isn´t just what is above ground it also has concrete bases to be removed.
Miguelito was raised here and has worked in construction for years. When he can he comes and spends time with us which is such a blessing to us. There are some young people who left and we have not ever seen them.
I want to share a little more about Jesus at 12 years old teaching in the temple. Luke 2:52 says, “Jesus returned to Nazareth with His earthly parents, and He “increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” So, He grew up like any typical boy in the first century.
He went through all the stages of life- from birth, to infancy, to childhood and the adulthood. He is a Savior who can identify all human experiences. Peter, in the temple referred to Him as the Holy Child Jesus. (Acts 4:27, 30).
