Preaching in Chimaltenango

IHundreds of pounds of cables.
I miss preaching on KAJN radio. Dozens of years I preached and now I feel so empty. As much as I love preaching here in Guatemala, I still have such a deep love for Louisiana. T
With Dottie´s physical disability we will not be able to travel home anymore. But for the KAJN radio audience I ask you to pray for us and nothing short of a miracle.
Orlando is removing all the old cables that add up to many years. You can imagine 35 years of old telephone lines, direct TV and all the camera symptoms over the years.
Yesterday, February the third, I reminisced of that day because I will never forget that day as we crossed the border. Do not think I was a man of faith because I was so frightened I thought that if someone from the USA called and asked me to return to the USA and pastor their church, we would have made a U-turn and headed home. No faith! I was shaking in my shoes. And if God would have said “Mike, you are going to feed, educate, clothe and love 6000 children” I would have fainted.
God snuck up on me and in my heart, I thought that if Dottie and I did that for 25 children it would be marvelous. Little did I know what God was up to. Tony took me to the bank.
I spoke at Deidra and Brother Teddie´s ministry in Chimaltenango. It was from 6:30-7:30am.
“In those days, an at all time, will I cause the BRANCH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS to grow up unto David and He shall execute judgment and righteousness in the Land.” Jeremiah 33 :15. It can also be RIGHTEOUS BRANCH or RIGHTEOUS BRANCH OF DAVID. The prophet Jeremiah predicted that God´s judgment would fall on the nation of Judah because of their sin and rebellion against the Lord. But in this verse, He looked beyond that time of destruction to the day when God would send the Messiah, who would be known as the BRANCH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, and would rule over God´s people with love and mercy. The Messiah would be like a limb that sprang from a dead trunk.
