My mistake

I made an error so this is the blogs for Thursday and Friday. So here are both together.

A teacher in our school for years was killed Monday less than a mile from our front gate. When I wrote Monday of a motorcycle death, I did not know it was him. He was one of the best teachers we ever had. He was married to our school secretary and lives in the Colonia right behind our house near my son, Tony´s home.

I really hate motorcycles. He was hit by a car when he was off the highway and fell in front of another car that ran over him and killed him. Pray for his family. My son, Orlando, rides one as does several of our boys and girls who no longer live here. Julietta, our physical therapist, rides one. It is so much cheaper on gas consumption as well as maneuvering in the heavy traffic from here to the city. We had another young man from Casa also get killed in traffic coming home from the city three years ago. I pray daily for those I know to be protected by God´s Angels when they are on their motorcycles.

I woke up Wednesday with a really bad case of dizziness and walked like a drunkard. It is vertigo I guess.

As we continue with the names of Jesus, we seldom think that one name for Christ is the APOSTLE. Hebrews 3:1-2 says “Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider your thoughts on the APOSTLE and High Priest

Of our profession, Christ Jesus, who was faithful to him that appointed him.” Apostle is a person sent on a special assignment with delegated authority and power. He was sent by His Father on a mission of love and grace.

30th Friday

I have been sick with vertigo for a few days. The

landscaping is coming along quickly as there are 6 men and women working on the property.

Dottie´s physical therapy has become a group project as Dottie, Michelle, Julieta, Adela and Carolyn are all working at the same time. It gives Dottie such pleasure with all the attention and laughter.

Last night however was the most difficult night since Dottie fell sick. She woke me up at 4:14 crying in pain. I did what I could but her being dead weight I had to wake up Tony and Adela. Her feet and legs were swollen so I first rubbed her legs before calling the others. Pray for her and me.

I personally like the name BELOVED SON found in Matthew 3:16-17. “And Jesus, when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and lo the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him: and lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my BELOVED SON, in whom I am well pleased.” This was spoken when Jesus was water baptized by John the Baptist at the beginning of Jesus’ ministry. The heavens opened, the Holy Spirit settled on Jesus, and God identified Jesus clearly as His BELOVED SON. God repeated these words at the Transfiguration showing He was pleased with what His Son had done.
