Dr. Herman was the first person to help us when we came to Guatemala in 1989. He has remained a dear and trusted friend throughout the years. He loves Dottie and took her in his arms as Jesus wold do and prayed for her.

Mario who came to Casa at 2 years of age and is now 37 took Mariella and children on vacation for 10 days. He has not had a vacation in 3 years and the two of them work so hard to help Casa function.

It has been a very busy last 2 months with graduation, quienceaneras, 7 straight days of activities for the children from gifts, fireworks, the Lord’s Supper, singing and many other activities.

The staff has been incredible. With Dottie so ill I certainly did not pull my weight over the last few months. So I am so grateful for dorm parents and other staff that stepped in to cover for me.

Today I want to share with you another name for God. It is found in Genesis 18:25 “That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked…Shall not the JUDGE OF ALL THE EARTH do right? Two related titles of God that express this same idea are JUDGE OF THE EARTH (Psalm 94:2) and JUDGE OF ALL (Hebrews 12:23).

This name was first spoken by Abraham when he was talking to God about destroying Sodom because of its wickedness. Abraham believed that God was just in His actions. God sent an angel to deliver Lot and this proved that God is fair and equitable in His work in the world as the righteous dispenser of justice.
