Singing

The manger

Our staff has done a wonderful job over the last 3 months with all the changes and the holiday preparations. Tonight, we will sing Christmas carols from dorm to dorm.

Dottie has not been thinking clearly much of the time over the last month. Each evening, she asks me to help her pack so we can catch the early flight to Louisiana.

Last night was the worst night Dottie has had since becoming ill 16 months ago. She woke me up at 3am saying that the pan that she was holding was hot and for me to take it. I told her I had it, but she continued saying it was hot. Then she began saying the milk was too cold. Finally, she asked if Tony and Quique and Tony were sleeping on the floor next to our bed because she did not want them to miss the plane ride with us to Louisiana.

I took a really bad fall when I lost my balance and crashed to the floor. No real damage but terrible pain.

“And she called the name of the Lord that spoke unto her, “THOU GOD SEES ME” for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me:” Genesis 16:13. This was said by Sarah´s servant, Hagar, when she called God by this name when the angel of the Lord appeared to her in the wilderness.

After conceiving a child by Abraham, she had been driven away by Sarah. An angel came to her aid in her time of trouble. God sees our needs, hears our prayers, and comes to help.
