After such a busy past few months I do not have anything much to share with you. The holidays are coming so decorations are beginning to be put up. Christmas will be very different with the number of children we have. It is very strange with so many older young adults gone.

The 18- to 20-year-olds are still here but all above 21 years are gone. It was time although I will always remember them as my children. Pray daily that those who have left will make a living, find a great church, stay pure, find the love of their lives and be great Christian parents.

Vanessa received first place from all the homes in Guatemala for “Thinking out of the box” program with Transforming Futures, Dulce received the Humility Courage medal for the first year of the program, also among all the homes for children in Guatemala.

Adela and Michelle began putting up the Christmas decorations both inside and outside our home.

Another name for God as seen in Psalm 70:5 is DELIVERER. This verse says, “But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my DELIVERER; O Lord, make no tarrying (no delay).” David experienced God as Deliverer many times throughout his life.

Remember when David faced Goliath he said, “The Lord that delivered me from the lion and the bear will deliver me from this Philistine.” God may not choose to deliver us from every danger in this life. But He has provided deliverance from sin and death through the death of His Son Jesus. God rescues people from danger, bondage sin and distress, bringing them to safety and freedom.
