Dottie´s conversation

Quique was a witness at the wedding.

This nurse, Jackie, is very special. She does extra for Dottie by taking her outside in her wheelchair to see and water her flowers and plants. Dottie is doing better mentally, and I know it has a lot to do with Julieta´s therapy and the love of Adela, Jackie, Shandy, Michelle, Tony, Quique, Orlando daily and the contact with other children and adults. It keeps her thinking. She has started to initiate conversations for the first time since getting ill a year ago.

Jackie and Adela also have separated and folded all our clothes. I gave 60% of my clothes to the boys and Dottie´s clothes are being separated so we can give 60% of her clothes to the girls/women here at Casa and the rest to the poor in villages.

One of boys who left Casa recently called for me to eat breakfast with him and talk about his future.

“I am the Lord, your Holy One, the CREATOR OF ISRAEL.” This is Isaiah 43:15. Through the prophet Israel, the Lord made it clear why the nation of Israel existed. They had been created by God Himself to serve as His agents of redemption to the rest of the world.

The Lord told Abraham, “I will make of thee a great nation….and in you will all the nations of earth be blessed.” But Israel kept forgetting the reason for their existence. God, through Jesus, is still in the business of creating a special kingdom of people for Himself.”
