Dottie has the sweetest attitude. She is so very happy even during such a terrible disease. She is totally unable to walk and even turn over in the bed. She can sit only if we place her in that position. A Godly attitude is valuing others above yourself. She asks about my health and my emotions. She even wants to serve. She cannot stand up but she says things like “Do you want me to help you with the dishes?” She thinks more about my needs than her own needs.

Samuel from Tennessee arrived yesterday and will be here 2 months so he will be a great blessing to the children.

The children will have music classes 4 days and then soccer competition on Wednesdays. A team is coming to help renovate bathrooms in the school.

In 1 Corinthians 15:23 it says that Jesus is FIRST FRUITS. “But now is Christ risen from the dead and become the first fruits of them that slept.” This refers to the Biblical concept that His resurrection was the first of its kind, foreshadowing a future resurrection for believers.

The term “first fruits” originates from an ancient harvest festival where the first and best of the crops were offered to God as a sign of thanksgiving for the whole harvest. Paul says inn I Corinthians 15:20-23, where the Apostle Paul calls Jesus the “first fruits of those who have fallen asleep (died).”
