Wonderful Day

Her disease does not keep her from reading the Bible
I was so happy yesterday as two of our Guatemalan staff members gave their hearts to Christ.
And then after this a girl, age 28, who came here because of horrible abuse at age three came to tell me that my sermons on forgiveness caused her to look for her mother. She found her in Chimaltenango and asked her to forgive her for hating her all these years. The girl will be leaving here at the end of the year and will be living with her mother. God is so good!!!
Roberto, Bubba, Oscar, Miguel, Tatiana and Kimberly stayed for lunch. The boys helped Adela and they all put their money together and barbecued.
It does not matter how badly Dottie feels she goes to church in her wheelchair, and she reads a page of her Bible daily.
Mario blessed us with the Disney channel and Dottie loves it. She loves Disney and cartoons and G-rated movies, etc. He was so sweet to do that for her.
After all the activities for 6 days celebrating Independence Day today (Monday) is Independence Day itself. Fireworks and flags and marches rule the day. So our staff has a holiday as do the banks and many businesses.
John 8:35 says, “And the servant abided not in the house forever: but the Son abides forever.” says, that Jesus is “THE ABIDING SON”. This means that Jesus, as the Son of God, is eternally present with the Father and that believers are to remain in Him through faith and obedience to bear fruit.
This “abiding” is a dynamic, ongoing relationship where believers are connected to Jesus. The “TRUE VINE” and draw life and power from Him to live a spiritually fruitful life.” Abide means to remain, stay or continue in Jesus, reflecting a deep, vital connection to Him where we bear fruit such as love, joy and peace. https://www.casaaleluya.org/blog/
