New Nurse

The Baptism of Jesus

We have had three days of very quiet activity. We did hire a new nurse. Her name is Asusnna. She will help in dialysis and with Dottie.

Dottie is sleeping a lot, so we are trying to get her out of bed and into the wheelchair to keep her more alert.

Dennis´s team is praying over every dorm as well as writing scripture to place on the dorms. They have baked muffins for all the children. They went to Antigua Thursday.

Isaiah 11:1 says, “A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.” Jesus the Branch is a title referring to Jesus Christ as described in the Old Testament prophecies from the books of Isaiah and Zechariah. The term “Branch” signifies His royal lineage from David to Jesse, His divine nature as the Son of the Lord and His role as the future king and priest who would rebuild God´s spiritual temple and usher in an era of peace.

This is also seen in the New Testament where Jesus calls Himself the “True Vine” and His followers the “branches” who bear fruit by remaining in Him. The Branch of the Lord implies a divine connection, with the Branch being both God´s descendant and God Himself.
