The Guatemalan congress declared the 1st of August as the Day of the Bible in Guatemala. Isn´t that something? The USA has removed the Bible and prayer from public display and Guatemala is doing just the opposite. Pray for our country.

It is a blessing to have received new children the last few weeks. Hopefully the courts are recognizing us again.

Exodus 34:14 “The Lord is a consuming fire”. ESH OKLAH OR EL KANNA is a consuming fire who will ultimately destroy whatever is opposed to His holiness. He is also a jealous God, who loves us completely and who, therefore, demands our wholehearted response. God sometimes manifested Himself through images of fire—as a blazing torch, in the burning bush or as a pillar of fire.

When Moses met with God on Mount Sinai, the Israelites thought the glory of the Lord looked like a consuming fire upon the mountain. I believe this is the name that blesses and protects those who are persecuted for their faith. Exodus 34:14 tells us not to worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God. We are never to bow down to any other god or thing.
