Sunday was special

I asked Dottie to put her sweater on. She is so full of joy.

Sunday was Parent´s Day so they come to church to hear me preach and then Makko and Ali have a 45-minute parenting class with them followed by 3 hours of picnicking with their children. We have had parents saved in our services. So, it has been a blessing.

The Florida and Texas teams continue to have activities for each age group. Janna´s group had bingo in the evening with the older child. Chris´s group had a movie with Vencedores and Espewranza.

A team from Family Life in Lafayette, Louisiana dropped by for a few hours. They had pizza for everyone for lunch. Family Life was one of the first churches that began supporting Casa in 1989.

It has been a year since Dottie´s paralysis and her attitude has not wavered. She loves and plays with those who are caring for her. In 12 months, I can honestly say that she has not complained or been in anyway upset about her condition. It demonstrates her nearness to Jesus.

SON OF GOD is the name of Jesus that I assume everyone knows.  Luke 1:35 says “And the angel answered and said to her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore, also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.”

Hebrews 4:14 says, “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.” Jesus is the Son of God by nature. He is the only “natural” Son of God, which means He partakes in the Divine nature fully. We become children of God by adoption and inherit all creation in, and with Christ. He is the Only Begotten, Heir, Son of the Most High.
