Virginia and Justin

My sister Virginia

Sometimes I mess up my blog and you do not receive it automatically. If so, go to Google and type in casaaleluya.org and then click on blog. I am sorry that this keeps happening.

My sister, Virginia, and her son, Justin, arrived today. I have not seen her since before my other sister, Charlotte, passed away. She and I are the only two siblings left so she is incredibly important to me.

Tony drove me to the airport so coming back to Casa I had plenty of time to enjoy Virginia´s company. She will see Dottie Thursday morning.

I ran into Kirk who worked as a missionary for years with Pastor Teddie.

There was a 4.0 quake in El Salvador last night and a 4.5 in Guatemala. The Guatemalan government announced there have been over 1000 shakes with over 900 of them being less than 1.0. Doc and Debbie dropped by and it was great. We have known them for 30 years.

Following the Prophet, we have JESUS THE REDEEMER as seen in Job 19:25. “For I know my Redeemer lives, and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth.” Jesus is our redemption. Christ´s death is the payment that redeems us from the debt we owe to God´s law, ransoming our lives and guaranteeing us a place in His family.

The book of Ruth says Christ is our Kinsman. That means He is our Ransom, Redemption and Guarantee. I Timothy 2:6 says, “Who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in good time.” When Jesus came into my life my debt of sin was paid for past, present and future. Redeemer references the salvation He accomplished and is based on the metaphor of redemption or “Buying back”.
