Martyrs

Evelin and Adela bought Chineese food for me and hamburgers for Dottie and just gave her a special day.

The three teams have been such a blessing to us but also outside of Casa where they have witnessed in villages and the streets of Antigua. Jeremiah´s team will be here until noon as he will preach in my place and stay a week to study Spanish in Antigua.

I read two of the George Muller books as well as Foxes Voices of the Martyrs. It is the newest edition covering the first martyr. Steven, in AD 33 all the way through Mario Acidre who was martyred in 2011 in the Philippines. I cannot put it down.

Andreas and Estella Saquach came and brought breakfast to us.

Charlie brought another team to visit the children.

The fourth way we are to stand in battle in the freedom of liberty. Galatians 5:1 says, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherein Christ has made you free and be not entangled again in the yoke of bondage¨. That word “Again” tells me that we can get saved, leave sin but return to it later. Christ has freed believers from bondage, urging them to stand firm in this liberty and not submit to their past slavery to sin. This freedom given by Christ is something that cannot be earned. You need to embrace the freedom that God gave you in Christ.
