Ted and Lori

Juan Jose´
Someone is bringing me George Muller´s Autobiography and a person here in Guatemala has the book George Muller Man of Faith.
Yesterday was our son, Orlando´s, birthday. He is 31 years old. Most of you do not know his story. He came to Casa when he was 20 months old. His legs were in the shape of a doughnut and the doctors said he would never walk.
Patty said, “Papi, can I have him?” She kept him 7 months and he began walking and talking. He finished his university degree and is on staff as the technician for Casa. The reason we adopted him was to prevent the courts from sending him to an institution for the mentally retarded. He is truly a miracle son to us.
Dr. Santamaria, a neurologist, and three others from Houston arrived to visit Dottie. They stayed only one night. But they were so kind and loving to Dottie. Dr. Santamaria said that the diagnosis and treatment that we are doing with Dottie is exactly what he would do. So that gave me peace.
Orlando and I went to the bank to close his account and open another since he was robbed.
Ted´s wife, Lori, came so that was a pleasant surprise. We had such a good long visit. They will be here 2 weeks.
The third point of responsibility to others is found in James 4:11 which tells us not to speak evil of one another. We can kill a person with our words. We can destroy them with evil words. Titus tells us to peak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.
Bitterness, anger, damaging reputations all line up with Proverbs 18:21 “Life and death are in the power of the tongue”.
