With Dottie so ill I rarely leave her side. It is unfair to ask the young adults to watch her more then they do.
Adela works constantly cooking for all of us as well as being the one to take Mami to the restroom. She also dresses her and helps with therapy.
I cannot pick Dottie up safely, so Quique is available during the day while Tony and Orlando are available weekends and nights. The nurses bathe her 4 times a week and see that she always has her medication ready for me to administer. Dottie makes it easy to do because she has an unbelievable attitude. She smiles and laughs and in these last 9 months I can honestly say she has never complained or said, “Why me?”.
The 9th purpose of the Bible is to keep us from sin. Psalm 119:11, “Thy Word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee”. The Word is a check valve. When you read the Word daily God will give you a check inn your spirit when danger is near. It is a weapon you can pull out when sin is at your door. Quote the Word to your situation. That is your weapon.
2nd: Guatemala has more holidays than any nation I know. Today is Labor Day which we also have in the US. So, the children do not have school today.
