Prayers
Another child broke a finger and went to the hospital.
The toddler I spoke to you about yesterday as sent to another home for special medical attention.
Dottie and I spent the entire morning praying and listening to great teachers. There are times in all of our lives where we need to sit still before the Lord.
In the afternoon Dottie had a medical exam.
One of the most giving and loving men who have been so kind and generous has cancer and I ask your prayers for him. In fact Dottie and I have a notebook with names of people we pray for daily. Illness, salvation, relationships and guidance are the main areas of prayer. If you have a prayer need send me your name and need and Dottie and I will pray daily for you.
When we have a difficult task we can either attempt to whittle the job down to size or we can prepare ourselves to rise to the challenge. In Exodus 3:11-12 Moses said, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh?” He thought he could not do it. Time would show that with God he could do it. Trust the Lord!
