:I had a rough night thinking about Gerson. A parent should never have to bury their child. 

Dottie and I had three children all born with an endocardial cushion defect. They died at 1 year, 9 years and 2 days.

Since Casa began we have buried over 30 children. Some died by gunfire, motorcycle accidents, car accidents, kidney disease, two were due to severe cleft lips and literally starved due to the mother not knowing how to feed them. One child was beaten to death by their father while visiting his home. One of the older boys had an aneurysm.

Each child who has died have made a lasting pain in our hearts.
