Principles of success #6

We will be at Lilesville Baptist in Lilesville on Sunday morning.

The children had a play day with the water toys and swimming pools. Wet and happy!

We have rested well here with Larry & Sue & getting my mind off of the finances is a major goal. God has been faithful so I need to trust Him.

The eleventh principle of success is that you must believe that you can succeed. Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. There is no doubt that “Without faith it is impossible to please God”. Faith is necessary for all of us to develop and grow. Each day we should be stronger than the day before.

I speak much and often about obedience which is what gets the job done. You can believe but you must act. So believing you can do it is critical in success.

12) To succeed you must depend upon a power that is greater than yourself. Faith in WHO is the critical portion of faith. It is not faith in your abilities or talents. It is faith in Christ. Ephesians 3:20 “Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us”. The power is within based upon your faith in Christ but just as importantly is allowing Him to work in and through you.

If there is anything Dottie and I learned years ago is that we can do nothing without Him.
