Well, the girls were quicker to act than I was! I typically begin decorating for Christmas the weekend after Thanksgiving, but the girls got a one day head start on me and were starting to decorate bright and early Friday morning. Before I even knew what was happening, the tree was up and other decorations were being sorted and/or made. Unfortunately for the tree crew, they had not put the lights on the tree before getting all the ornaments hung. So, off came the ornaments, on went the lights, and back went the ornaments…all in record time! They were showing their creativity by making a nativity ornament out of popcicle sticks and other ornaments using yarn dipped in glue and then wrapped around a small inflated balloon. All in all the girls’ sala is looking quite festive! Let the Christmas season begin!
